Upload with the Main Uploader

The Main Uploader is a Flash-based uploader that allows you to upload images and videos.

Log into your Photobucket account.
Click the Upload now button in the main navigation bar. The Uploader page displays.

Share your uploads

If you want to share your uploads, click the checkbox(es) beside the site(s) you want to share with. You may be required to enter your credentials if you are not already connected to those sites. See Enable one-click share connections for details.

Note: You must select the checkbox(es) BEFORE you upload to automatically share.

Select the name of the album which is the upload destination in the Upload to drop-down.
Click Select Photos and Videos, browse to the location of your media, and choose the media you want to upload. See File type parameters for a list of acceptable file types.

Note: You can select multiple files: Hold the CTRL or SHIFT key down, and click on image or video files. Use CTRL to select content randomly from the list within a folder on your computer. Use SHIFT to select a contiguous list of files. On Mac, use the Command key .

Click Open to upload your selected media. You can see your progress as you upload and a success message when the upload is complete.

Add tags, titles, and descriptions while you upload

As your files are uploaded, they display below the upload progress bar, and you can add tags, titles, and descriptions.

Add the same tags to multiple images:
1. Select images to tag.
2. Click Choose action, select and click Tag selected.
3. Enter the tag(s) you want for the images, and click Add.

Click Save and continue to my album when you are done.

One-click share page

If you used the one-click share feature and uploaded multiple files, the posted links go to a Share page that shows ONLY the media you shared. Users cannot navigate within your album if your album is private.
